Discover Scuba Diving

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. No Shenanigans Diving offers this program either in a pool and/or off a beach.  Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

The Scuba Diver course is a subset of the Open Water Diver course. If you’re short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you, particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide. This course is an intermediate step for earning an Open Water Diver certification, if that’s your ultimate goal.

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure, & see the world beneath the waves for yourself, this is where it starts. Get your scuba diving certification with the No Shenanigans Diving.  To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course you must be:

  • 10 years old or older

  • need adequate swimming skills 

  • be in good physical health.

Adventure Diver





*1-2 days

The Adventure Diver course is a subset of the Advanced Open Water Diver course. Have you always wanted to try digital underwater photography, fish identification or dry suit diving? There’s a long list of scuba adventures you can take part in during this program. Complete three Adventure Dives and you earn the Adventure Diver certification. It’s a great opportunity to  build your scuba skills and gain more confidence.

Exploration, Excitement, & Experiences

That’s what the Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification.  You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives Deep Dive & Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.

Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn simple to follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a nonstressful learning environment. EFR courses meet the CPR and first aid training requirements for the Rescue Diver Course and all professional-level ratings.

Scuba divers describe the Rescue Diver Course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed.  You learn to become a better dive buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.

Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you’ve spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures.

Every diver, who is at least 12 years old, should aim for Master Scuba Diver.

Love scuba diving?Take the  Divemaster Course and do what you love to do as a career. Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.  The Divemaster Course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. .
